Best fish and chips we have had in a while. We are lucky we found this gem in the heart or Torquay. The batter is light and fluffy and fish was nice and fresh. Their grilled fish has a lovely herb mix on it and the best we have had in a very long time. Staff also took their time and explained their specials for the day! We chose the barramundi and did not dissapoint one bit! We will definitely be back for more.

I recently visited this fish and chip shop, and I have to say, I was really impressed. The food was absolutely delicious – perfectly cooked, with crispy batter and fresh fish that just melted in your mouth. The chips were golden and perfectly seasoned. The service was just as great, with friendly and welcoming staff who made the whole experience enjoyable. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to for more!

Captain’s catch is a fresh take on your local fish and chip shop run by a friendly team with a passion for good food and sharing their love for feeding the community they serve. I had the grilled barramundi that had a tangy, delicious flavour (don’t forget a spritz of lemon!) and the fried calamari which was perfectly crunchy on the outside and buttery soft in the inside.
